BDE error 8712: ould Not Find Object 10. This error does not happen on MyODBC 3.51 and MyODBC 2.5.x This error was tested on another in-house BDE application and the same error occurred. NOTE: executing "SELECT 'abc'" does not cause an error and works as expected. [24 Oct 2006 14:13] Tonci Grgin Hi Herminio and thanks for your problem report. and connect a SQL Server 7.0 through ODBC. Could not find object - Error 8712 Board index » delphi » BDE Error - Could not find object Laurent Devigne Delphi Developer Mon, 10 Jan 2005 22:49:00 GMT BDE All rights reserved. Could not find stored procedure 'sp_MSins_sec_usr'. 8.
Here is mine: I encountered this error trying to return a Live Result set from a Delphi 4 query reading a MS SQL 6.5 server table. In typing the SQL parameter string I was cavalier about typing field names in the Where clause using upper and lower case letters. I get this error : "Could not find object" > >Could you help me, I did try to reinstall the BDE but the error is still > >there. > >Laurent >
For example: mysql> show create table a; +-------+-------------+ | Table | Create Table| +-------+-------------+ | a | CREATE TABLE `a` ( `id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, `name` varchar(30) default NULL, I have reinstall D4 and BDE Version 5.? If we call bdeadmin.exe, we receive the same message by clicking tabsheet databases, menu item object (when tabsheet databases is active) and the plus sign for exploring databases. IS Express can't find BDE's DATAPUMP.EXE 4.
Whilst doing this I seem to have messed up the > BDE installation. But, after issuing query for several times in a row, Access violation might happen in connector/ODBC 5 driver crashing dbExplorer too. But the bloody program is doing what it want not what is creadted for. I do not know for sure how the double entries were created, I assume it was caused by installing different versions or models of Delphi (standard/desktop/Client Server) on the same machine
I've tried re-installing > Delphi completely but the problem persists. More information about accessing the source trees is available at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/en/installing-source.html Explanation: Being huge Borland fan I am more than happy to announce that testing with latest c/ODBC version (rev.986 win32) I was recently trying to set up ODBC to an Interbase DB on a remote server. I am interested in knowing whether this works for anyone so please feel free to email me.

Which object is missing? However I'll set this report to "Verified" but don't think MySQL can fix it. Urgent: BDE Admin could not find object error 9. BDE error:could not find object 2. BDE Error 8712 - Object not found 3.
Does anyone have any idea what the "Could Not Find Object" error means? QUESTION: What causes BDE Error 8712 "Could not find object" when accessing MS SQL Server 7 table? But not a religion. No errors appear in the server log.
I was recently trying to set up ODBC to an Interbase DB on a remote server. I have experienced this problem when trying to access the "drivers\native" tree node in the BDE Admin, after 3 hours of searching and experimenting here is my solution. I have spend one week for searching the ghosts of windows and bde. Example: ------------------------------------------------ Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) Driver Microsoft dBase Driver (*.dbf) Microsoft dBase Driver (*.dbf) (Driver Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls) Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls) (Driver etc... -------------------------------------------------
When I try to run BDE Administrator I get the > message 'Could not find object' error 8712 and all of the aliases > have gone from the Databases tab. This message is also in borland.public.delphi.database.desktop. After much trial and error, I finally changed the field names to all upper case and the thing finally worked. --== Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ ==-- ---Share what you know. Everyone on the network uses the same idapi32.cfg file stored on a server.
These types represent Unicode data and are not supported by the BDE. Is only DELTREE C:\WINDOWS the solution?
