There should be instructions on how to update the bios. However it sounds like your BIOS has been updated. Sorry if this is a daft question but would removing the battery and putting it back in be of any use? Looking for a whitelist disabled HP bios?

Did it again... I would contact Lenovo Customer support to confirm if the BIOS I linked to is the correct one. I looked on the Lenovo site out of curiosity and found they didn't have a 9174Y1A update, but they did have a 9174Y1B update. Stay logged in Sign up now!
